| i have awsome trails to ride on out at my grandpa's farm. its right along the peace river so there are great hills and he has really good huge unused pasture land that there are good trails in. then you can go down to the river and go up it for quite a few killometers, plus all that mud! |

Crikey is it only Aussies that take cameras on trail rides???
Yes I do go trailriding!!!
Watagans trailride Brad and Jeff 1.5 hours North of Sydney Australia.
Jeff inspecting a Weta. A bit of a surprise as they are native to NZ but not supposed to be here!

Tough hillclimb, just a little further up the 40 degree slope turns sharply to the left and the ruts deepen to over the top of the crankcase deep and have tree roots, rocks and lots of loose stuff in them. We kept wheelstanding over the roots and dropping the bikes. Finally made it up after much kicking of flooded bikes at the bottom. Had to really attack the hill and not back off and try and keep the weight right up front. Although we heard and saw many other bikes in the area no-one else came through this trail.

Even in the bush Big Brother is watching you! (See blue sign right hand side.)
Jeff and Brad after a good days riding and checking out Jeffs GPS

Its a repost, but its the most recent stuff I have.
I put together 3 videos of some helmet cam footage I got the other day out riding. The location is Jordan Creek OHV area, which is in the Tillamook State forest. It is probably 40 miles or so west of Portland Oregon off of Hwy 6.
Sorry for the quality, I had to mess with the size of it when I rendered it and it lost some of the quality. Have a few nice saves that were caught on tape, I didnt crash once, but came close a couple of times. For the most part it turned out pretty good, other than not having the helmet cam pointing a little more up. Hope ya like'em
***If you change the "view size" to 320 the quality is a little better.***

Thump!
Those are some sweet trails you have and the soundtrack fit perfectly, the boys of AC/DC are gods among gods.
Crap.......just lost my train of thought, I hate it when that happens.
Oh, yeah, your camera is mounted on the side of your helmet, right? Do you notice much extra weight wanting to move your helmet around. The guys who did the on-bike bits of Dust To Glory (if you haven't seen it you definitely should) used cameras on the side of their helmets and they gave some pretty decent resolution.
What did it cost to get THX to do your sound? |

You have to have the picture hosted online some where (photobucket and picturetrail are the first to that came to mind). Once it is hosted you will copy the pictures web address and then when posting a topic on the forum you will click on this button located in the tool bar above. Something similar tp this will pop up (img)(/img). You will then paste the web address (img)here(/img). Then when you click post new reply your picture will be posted. |

Finally I've got some quick clips of me riding. I was out east this past weekend at Northumberland Forest, just north of Cobourg. I was actually riding with my buddy, but he was on his Specialized MTB, so he couldn't really keep up with me, but he nabbed these littles vids.
Northumberland 1 Northumberland 2 Northumberland 3
My plan is to get a helmet cam, I was wondering if anyone could recommend a decent setup that I can interchange between dirtbiking and mountain biking helmets.
Enjoy!
