Beauty Bike asf!

Did you have any problem mounting those Dual Star mirrors in a position where they didn't interfere with your controls/switches and you were still able to see behind you? I've got a set but haven't mounted them yet because I "test" mounted them and can't seem to get them in the right spot.

Old dog,

Those are motrax bar end mirrors mounted directly to the bars. They have a neck which allows them to just clear the throttle tube and the signal switches. Never used the dual stars but these seem to offer more range of adjustment. Can't beat 'em!

I agree, that's really a good lookin' bike!

Curious, do you have two sets of wheels or do you ride on the street tires all the time?

No dirt for me yet, just street. I'm using the bike to commute to work every day and weekend canyon runs. She is running great except I'm getting a metallic ring which gets worse in 2nd but it is because with my gearing the motor in 2nd really vibrates alot more than any other gear. I think it is something outside but Ive tightened everything and cannot find anything loose! Any thoughts?

Thanks. Guess what. USD forks are going in...................

Current SM setup is for sale. That means the whole front end and rear rim is for sale. Make an offer!

Bought your original front brake set up.

Bike looks great!

I too am preparing to do a USD conversion on my 85. Got a set of 03 CRF 450 forks, triple, wheel, rotor and caliper. Using an Emig stem. Plan to post progress but will not start until Jan.

Are you doing anything different with the fork springs?

Good luck

the setup I had was supposedly reworked already. Will see how she feels compared to the rear once I finish it up. I have to remove the lock washer because the stem is a tad short but then I should be ready to ride!
