I couldn't find any lower fork guards for my BRP so I made my own out of 2" PVC pipe they were fairly easy too make I'm going to add my homemade disc guard to them shortly I'm in the process of fabricating it.It will be made out of aluminum.

I used black PVC pipe and then used some of that Kylon Fusion paint for a good coating. |

Great job! What did you use for the "end caps" at the bottom end of the forks? |

| No end caps as of yet I'm going too utilize the left end for the disk guard and then make a copy for the right minus the guard. |

Nice job, I wish i could do that but New York puts the inspection sticker on the lower left fork. You can kind of see the sticker in this pic. Because of that stupid sticker you can't run fork guards unless you cut out a special spot in them to show the sticker, and the sticker is pretty big and the inspector always moves the thing around, so it is actually rather pointless. you would end up with a guard that was actually guarding anything only on one side. |
2006 XR650L - MA is not an affliction. It's a gift. A sick, twisted, wonderfully uncontrollable gift. (MAniacal laughter here) - There is always... one.. more... Mod! - Most of my riding experience is gained in the short time it takes me to reach my next crash site. |
