Tore the whole bike down to see why it wasnt starting, cleaned the carb, checked valve clearance, cam chain tension. Then i put it all back together and no luck. I checked the spark and there was none!

Where do i begin?

Thanks!

bad plug, bad coil, bad cdi, could be a number of things. try the plug first

you can but I'd check the wiring from the CDI box to the coil. cheap wires = bad connections. always assume solid state electronics are good until proven otherwise.

Bike is still sitting, i dont know where to begin. How to i test the wires to try and fix it? Is there a wiring harness i can just buy somewhere to replace the whole thing?

A complete wiring harness would probably be as much as the bike cost new and there's a good chance it won't fix your problem. Get a hold of a meter, multimeter or continuity checker and check all connectors and wires for continuity first.

OK i will get started on checking connections with a multimeter. Do you happen to know if the stator and cdi are interchangable to the honda xr50/70?

I took the tank and seat off to look at the wiring, and after about 30 minutes of inspection, i found a fried wire. I hooked it back up and about 15 kicks later it started. It runs like absolute crap, its been sitting for about 6 months in the rain and sun.

Glad you found the bad wire! Hopefully it's running like crap because of old gas, fouled plug, or something fairly simple...
