We recommend using a service manual for any repair. However, for those times where a manual is not accessible, we have provided this specs page for reference.

XR650L fork oil & oil level specs:
- XR650L fork setup
- XR650L fork seal change and fluid level

- Fork Oil Capacity: 564cc or 19.1 fl oz (ref)
- Fork Oil Level: 145mm or 4.7" (ref)

XR650L Steering related Torque Specs (ft pounds):
- Handlebar upper holder bolts = 20
- Steering stem nut = 85
- Steering bearing adjustment nut = 0.7
- Upper triple clamp bolts = 20
- Lower triple clamp bolts = 24
- Front axle = 63
- Front axle holder nuts = 9
