So who is the king of monkey butt? How many miles have you put on your BRP? I bought my first XR650L this last spring and have put 2500 trouble free miles on it already.

| 2,800 miles since July. This daylight savings time is bumming me out. Don't want to ride home from work in the dark because there are too many deer. Guess it'll be relegated to weekends for a few months. |

just went and looked...22,516 miles.
The speedo was broke when I got it...like most bits on this bike. So god knows how many its really done over the 10 years, but they've been hard miles for sure. I means who wears out the steel shaft inside the rear shock...how many times has that gone up and down.
I'm going keep it forever and set the Guiness Pig of Records :-D |

I have only put on about 500 miles in the last two years due to upgrades and maintenance, but I have a almost 50,000 miles on my 2002 650L....
What can I say, I love to ride that beast. |

06 xr650l, desmogged, daves carb mods, DJ needle@3rd pos. w/spring, 58/165 air/fuel 2-1/2 turns out, snorkel gone, k&n air filter, Jardine RT-4 slip-on, AC-10 rear, Kenda K270 front.

| I bought my 1994 in 1998 with about 1500 miles on it. It now has ......9000. Not very much considering how old it is. My wife has tried to coax me into selling it numerous times. I refuse because I like it too much, and, heck, it's paid for. |
