hy everyone im looking for people to ride dual sport in the upstate ny area ,i ride an 07 xr 650 l . i know some good legal trails in westchester ,and greenwood lake areas but im looking for new trails and new people to ride with . |

Upstate NY? How far up- I'm near cortland, more CNY I guess.

'01 XR650L - keihin 158 main jet, 55 'long' pilot jet, screw out 2.5 turns, stock needle shimmed 0.035", slide holes drilled to 5/32, dynojet shorter CV spring installed, K&N filter, snorkel removed, stock exhaust, air pump removed, thermometer dipstick, MT21 90/90 front, huge mutant teraflex rear, 13-48 spkts. hey dave thanks for your reply, i live in stonypoint right across the B/MNT bridge .do you know any good trails ? i know a few but im looking for new ones ,i got a couple of my buddys with dual sports that i ride with ,lets get a group together and go for a ride |

I'm not too familiar with that area (from the DS perspective).
I've heard there is some riding you can do on Mt. Beacon, but it's illegal (of course).
Black rock forest is also illegal, I'm sure.
Beep when you go over high-point on 218, we used to hang there all the time.

hey dave some great roads i do are wright near you ,old albany post rd ,the dirt section ,and somany others in putnum c.o. i dont know all the road names but there all legal dirt roads , any how if you want to hook up for a good trail hunt give me a call brian 914-557-2961 |

I'm not in that area anymore, I'm afraid, just grew up thereabouts.
I'm up near Cortland NY now, land of ice and snow (not really that bad!).

| A few of us ride every Monday in the southern tier around Hornell down to PA on the dirt road's & trail's. All are welcome to go. We are hoping to haul are bike's up north to the Redfield area a few time's over the summer and blast around there. We mostly ride on Monday's due to are work. The three of us are all running XRL's.
