I have an XT 500 Yamaha, and a TT 500 Yamaha, for sale, as well as some misc. parts, for either, or both. The XT has a little over 4500 actual miles on it, and is in good shape, ( outside of needing front fork seals and fluid replaced ). The bike does not have it's original exhaust system, but does have a lighter weight replacement set up, by Bassani or Jardine. The original painted brown and beige steel gas tank, has been replaced with a black plastic, dual petcock, Clark unit, and the brown plastic front, and, metal rear, fenders, have been replaced with rustproof and lighter weight black plastic units, as well. This bike has had the original rear shocks replaced with new Fox shocks, with coils wound for optimum performance with a 220 to 230 pound rider. Lastly, it has the somewhat rare, chromed factory rear lugage rack for this model, that is in as new shape. The TT is much more stock, everything original, including light kit, and factory aluminum rear swing arm. ( Front and rear fenders are white plastic, side panels black plastic, and gas tank is aliminum model with clear coated sides and painted black top. I also have one extra eng/gearbox, pretty much complete from head & cyl. down to crankcase drain plug. One, new in the box inside the frame downtube oil strainer assembly, one used speedo, a used speedo & tach/ingnition key assemblly, one used, and one new, Mikuni carbs, extra white bros. swingarm, extra factory aluminum skidplate, etc. Asking 2500 dolars, US for everything, or, will discuss selling items separately. Just e-mail or call, and I'll be happy to answer all questions, and provide pics. ( PHone # 208-267-9606 ). I'll be taking some photos this next week, as I have to borrow a digital camera.
I was a member of Reid M.'s thumper page forum for years, but have spent the last two winters overseas, and am back home here this summer to list my house, cars, boats, bikes, etc., and leave the snow belt, hopefully, for good, by this coming December! Everthing is geographically located a short drive north of Coeur d' Alene/Post Falls, Idaho, not far northeast of Spokane WA. |
