Hello, My wife has a 2002 KLR250 with 3000 miles on it, recently it started making a noise. As soon as you back off the throttle it makes a clicking sound from the top end it only lasts for a split second then goes away. Today I took the valve cover off and checked the valves and timing chain it all looks good. But while looking things over the starting decompression mechanism that's on the end of the exhaust cam looked loose (moves from side to side the spring looked fine)looks like Kawasaki only sells the decompress-er with the cam for $160.00 I would like to make sure that this is the problem before spending that much money. Has anyone ran across this problem? Thanks in advance for help, Jonny
