Does any other bike rear shock fit? My buddy ruined his and so far all the replacements we've found are way expensive!
Thanks!

Is your buddies shock beyond being rebuilt?? Unless he broke it he should be able to get it rebuilt.

I know for a fact that you can by the entire shock shaft assembly cheaper than you can buy just the shaft assembly. On my old XR400 the rebound adjuster broke and I got the entire assembly which includes the rubber bumper, seal head, piston and complete valving stacks. Check into it as it will be cheaper than a new shock and cheaper than buying a used shock and having it gone thru before you use it.

Have a parts XR400 rear shock up for grabs on the 4strokes "parts" forum.

Currently have a quote out to a gentleman wanting both the front and rear suspenders.

The spring on this rear unit has been upgraded with an Eibach unit for a 230 lb. rider.
