Ok today (4-9-12) i took a 2004 crf 50 and cleaned the air filter out it hadn't been riden for 2 years so it wouldn't run the filter is clean now so it started up (barely) it only will run with the choke on even tho it is warmed up i cant seem to figure what is going on and i rode it for about 5 minutes and it smelled like things were burning up the filter was cleaned out with gas and i also cleaned out the spark plug if someone could help me out on what to do i might have to change up the idol switch but im not sure how to do it either also im not sure how to put the back tire on the bead because i cant put air in

Welcome to the CRF forums. If the bike has sat for that long, it sounds like the carb needs a good cleaning. You more than likely have a plugged pilot jet. You will need to remove the carb and clean it real well with a spray can of carb cleaner.

Sounds like carb also make sure you drain the petrol out and put new petrol in
