I bought a 2012 XR 650 L, brand new May 8 2012. Still box stock, with the addition of a rear rack I designed, built and installed myself, you can find it under the images page where I posted it.
I eventually plan on adding a larger fuel tank and more comfy seat for extended rides. This is my first ever bike, except for the kind you have to pedal to ride,LOL
I'm gonna wait on engine/trans/suspension mods till my riding skills get to the point where I'm pushing the bike beyond what it can do in stock form.
I need to extend the right passenger foot peg as the wife said her leg gets hot that close to the muffler. She has to ride with her foot out at the end of the peg, so I will extend it a few inches. Probably do both so they will match.

Got myself a '85 xr350r...In really good shape. Needs a clutch replacement and new exhaust. Otherwise in super nice shape. Cant wait to get riding!!
