Here is a shot of the trick single-sided frame of the ATK 605. The frame holds a whopping 3 quarts of oil. The offset frame makes working on the bike (especially checking the valves) a pleasure.

I find these ATK's very interesting. I rode a friends' 605 and it was a lot different than my XR but handled very nice. What do you put the value at on this bike?

Nice, low mileage 605's can be had for around $2,000-$2,400, with exceptional ones bringing slightly more. Folks tend to hang onto them for quite a while though as they are hard to beat. Parts are cheap and readily available. They are the easiest bikes I've ever seen to maintain and reliable as a rock. This is my 3rd ATK. I love 'em!! :-)
