I made a plate to lift my BRP (Honda XR650L) with an SUV 3-ton floor jack. I welded two 3/8" thick X 1-1/2" wide x 18" long plate steel bars to a 4" wide X 9" long steel channel in an "H" fashion. I drilled a 5/8" clearance hole for the center lift bolt of the jack. I then drilled four 3/8" holes into the ends of the 1-1/2" plates for attachment of tie-down straps to stabilize the bike and secure it to the stand. [You could also use long bolts and fender washers to secure the foot pegs to the lift plate.] The SUV floor jack with lift plate is much easier to use than trying to lift the BRP onto a stand.
