4Strokes.com Technical: Inexpensive Rear Fender Bag by Joe
Here is an inexpensive rear fender bag for dirt bikes that do not have a rear luggage rack. I found an $11 bag made by American Tourister that is sized perfectly to carry 8½" tire irons, two tubes, an owner's manual, registration, tool pouch, and more. It is perfect for those intermediate to long rides. The bag is plastic lined to help keep things dry. The internal zippered pouch is the perfect size for an owners manual, etc. The bag is even large enough to hold a wind breaker (light jacket), gloves, and a baseball hat. Installation takes some trimming of the plastic plate in the bottom of the stock bag, and you may have fun trying to get the bolt holes to line up, but it is really no big deal. The two side pouches are the perfect size for carrying tubes.
